CUSTOMER SERVICE is our top priority
From the beginning, we strive to support you competently with our expertise.
We work closely with our cooperation partners and assembly companies. At the same time, we get a personal impression of the current situation of your company on site. We also assist you in customer discussions.
If you have questions, we are here to help. Therefore, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions or common issues.
Of course, there are always new questions that we do not address here, but our employees are happy to provide you with telephone advice.
The main difference lies in the Surfaseal surface.
A polyester film, which is incorporated into the Glasbord® surface using a special process technology, guarantees the pore-free surface.
This prevents the penetration of germs, bacteria, and chemicals and protects the material from discoloration.
In embossed material, irregularities and scratches are not as noticeable, and repairs are hardly visible.
Slower runoff of cleaning foam ≈ longer exposure time ≈ lower dosage.
Creates pleasant working conditions and reduces eye fatigue due to diffused light reflection.
Smooth material is easier to print on, label, and stick.
The substrate, adhesive, and panels must be at room temperature, at least 10°Celsius.
If the room is later operated at higher temperatures, the panels should be heated to this temperature (at least 24 hours) due to thermal expansion.
The substrate must be load-bearing, grease-free, and dust-free.
Never bond to wet substrates (pressurized water).
The adhesive surface of the panels (back) must also be cleaned (Hydewa Cleaner).
Around 6mm expansion joint should be maintained and laid "floating".
Be sure to follow the technical data sheets!
The choice of insulation thicknesses depends on various factors:
Is it an interior wall or the interior insulation of an exterior wall?
What temperature do the adjacent rooms have? What room temperature is required? What is the temperature of the cooling goods during storage? How high is the intake volume of the cooling goods? What vapor pressure or condensation risk is present?
In general, you can plan with 100 mm insulation thickness for cooling rooms and 240 mm for deep-freeze rooms for your preliminary planning. These element thicknesses have proven themselves in practice.
A final assessment must be carried out by a climate technology specialist.
The possible spans depend on numerous factors. Contact us individually about possible spans.
Possible production lengths of up to 12 m, depending on the respective sandwich panels, the structural conditions and the panel thickness.
The standard construction width is 1190 mm, with metal backing 1206 mm, or with coated steel panels 1150 mm.
If hard joints are to be used in direct bonding, the climatic conditions must first be clarified. For large temperature or humidity fluctuations, use soft joints (hps-1c)!
We recommend hard joints for sandwich panels.
According to DIN 52460, a maintenance joint is a joint exposed to strong chemical and/or physical influences, whose sealant must be regularly checked and, if necessary, renewed to avoid consequential damage.
No. We work with our long-term partner ARM DOORS for doors. They manufacture the doors with polyester door leaf surfaces in-house. This allows us to offer customer-specific solutions for every industry.
We and our partner ARM DOORS do not have doors in stock. All doors are individually assembled and produced for the customer.
The delivery time of the door(s) depends on a number of variables. Consider the number of doors, door type, size, desired thickness, material selection, and other options. Configure your desired door via the configurator so that we can process your request or contact one of our employees.
Of course. All doors from our partner ARM DOORS are custom-made. You can determine the desired dimensions of the door(s) yourself.
To ensure optimal operation and lifespan, regular maintenance is important. Check the door regularly for wear and defects.
All collision protection systems offer high-quality protection for sensitive indoor areas and are specifically designed to meet the demands of the food and hygiene industries. However, a direct comparison reveals clear differences.
Hydewa Protect® excels wherever comprehensive hygiene solutions are required. When it comes to material properties, corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance, and multifunctional use, this system offers significant advantages over traditional stainless steel or concrete versions.
