After 16 months of construction, the NORDfrische Center of EDEKA Nord GmbH in Valluhn/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was inaugurated on June 23, 2006. With an area of 42,000 square meters, the NORDfrische Center is the largest meat processing plant in Germany and, thanks to the latest production technology and equipment, also currently the most modern center in Europe.
